WitchWorks Magazine was a pulp horror magazine owned and edited by N.C. Patterson during the last year of his college degree as well as for a few years afterwards. This publication focused on helping undergraduates get experience in the field of editing, content writing, and publishing. WitchWorks provided a space for these new and unkown authors to share their work with the indie horror community. Most authors featured in the magazine issues were new or first time writers. Printing of these issues has since been stopped.
WitchWorks had a second magazine line called the Splatter Chronicles series. These publications included stand alone novellas and novelettes in a similar vein to pulp fiction and horror comic books from the nineteen fifties. Many of these are no longer available for purchase.
